#1 | Pen on Wood | 36″ x 80″ | $995 | For years I have been doodling in design meetings, in church, at lunch or just about anywhere I am when I have a pen. My doodle of choice has always been a circle that starts in the middle and continues to grow as it goes out just like you do when you start a ball of yarn. So I decided to see how this would do as a piece of art. Doing it on such a large scale is what I have always wanted to do. This took about 12 hours to complete. This is also the first in a 3 year project title “36 Doors”

“Mist” | Acrylic on wood | 36″ x 80″ | $895| I was going to paint over this one. However, sometimes your wife will convince you otherwise and now this painting hangs over our bed. I agree it actually looks pretty good. I was disappointed at first because It did not come out at all how I envisioned it, but now that it has been hanging over our bed for the last 5 months, I think it actually looks pretty good in there. I am calling it “Mist” because that is what it looks like. In truth the Mist was actually my beginning to paint over it, but I was stopped abruptly as my wife stated “Now I like it” so it remains alive.
