Revolution

revolution

Name: Revolution
Size: 36″ x 80″
Technique: Acrylic on wood
Price: $995
Just my third painting this year “Revolution” as I am calling it reflects my latest interest in the History of the American Revolution. However I did not intend this to be a reflection of the American Revolution but more a reflection of “Revolution” as a term as defines all revolutions and the chaos and hardship they bring. I believe revolution in certain cases has been good but still they are disrupting in whatever situation or country that they are in. I am not here to argue the case of revolutions one way or the other but I feel that this painting reflects what a revolution is. Let me know if you like it.

(All artwork comes with papers of authentication that are sealed and stamped. All artwork is hand delivered in GA, FL, SC, AL, NC, TN, & VA)

I feel a connection to this one. To me it seems to represent an emerging (or diminishing) order in the midst of conflicting forces, which is true of revolutions but also of many aspects of our lives and society.

"In a painting I have no desire to represent that which has already been photographed or painted. I want to create something completely new and never seen before. It is the ability to not control my paintings that I love" - Thomas B. Moffett
